Dear Community Supporters:
Washington Mathematics Science Technology (WMST) Public Charter High School, a STEM educational facility, located in Washington, DC, has been in existence for 18 years. During that time, we have reached many milestones. We are in the process of trying to acquire a new facility that will allow us to expand our program. Like many charter school systems, budget cuts are imminent. The limited financial support that WMST receives from school funding is not enough to expand our academic programming. We need people like YOU to assist us with supplemental funding. Your contributions will assist us with funds to continue to develop the next generation of leaders. Our financial goal for the 2016-17 school year is to raise $500,000.
The funds received this year will help us to acquire:
- a new facility
- equipment and resources needed to enhance our technology program
- materials to integrate the arts program into our curriculum
To aid us in reaching our goal, on June 2, 2017, WMST is holding its second annual gala. The theme is “Excellence in STE(A)M” (Science Technology Engineering, Art, Mathematics). Please consider contributing to this cause. Your tax deductible donation will be greatly appreciated. Please ask your family and friends to assist us in reaching our goal. We are counting on you. No amount is too small.
Here are ways for you to contribute:
