Technology Department Overview

The Washington Mathematics Science Technology Public Charter High School is committed to providing our students with the necessary tools to become lifelong learners. The Information Technology Department strives to implement a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for embarking on technology programs in higher education and careers. Students are prepared with 21st century skills to become effective digital citizens, problem solvers, critical thinkers and innovators, as well as contributors to the well-being of a global society. Technology is integrated into the school’s curriculum and the students’ daily learning experiences as they solve real world problems, using various technology tools, resources, and equipment.

Fully equipped with a high-speed wireless access across the building, several computer labs, mobile laptop carts, multiple computers in all Math classrooms, SMARTBoards in the classrooms, and other electronic resources, WMST is equipped with the technology infrastructure to support our curriculum, students and faculty, as we move to a one child-one-computer program.
